Agreeableness
trust, empathy, cooperation versus skepticism and competition
The agreeableness ruler — every position has trade-offs; neither end is "better".
When high
You cooperate by default: you trust, welcome, give way on small things to preserve the big ones. Teams work better with you in them. The risk has a name: saying yes when it was a no — and collecting on it later, in silence.
In the middle
You calibrate: you collaborate without erasing yourself, and confront without burning bridges. It is the position of good negotiators — empathy with a backbone.
When low
You’re skeptical and direct: truth before comfort, results before consensus. That makes you valuable in hard decisions — and costly in bonds that needed more softness than verdict.
This is a result of this lens — not a destiny. In the crossing, it gains or loses relief as the other eleven lenses agree with it or pull against it.
