Stress Sensitivity

emotional reactivity: how sensitive your alarm system is

The stress sensitivity ruler — every position has trade-offs; neither end is "better".

When high

Your alarm is sensitive: you feel sooner, stronger and for longer. That is radar — you detect what others ignore — and it is wear and tear. The useful question is never “how do I feel less,” but “what do I do with the signal.”

In the middle

Your alarm system is proportional: it goes off with cause and goes quiet with resolution. You feel enough to care and little enough not to drown.

When low

You’re steady under fire: crises roll off, criticism doesn’t stick. It’s a real fortress — with a blind spot: what doesn’t shake you, you tend to underestimate in others, in whom it does.

This is a result of this lens — not a destiny. In the crossing, it gains or loses relief as the other eleven lenses agree with it or pull against it.
