In full

Uses thinking to find the principles underlying ideas. Also trusts the intellect to work out the logical consequences of those principles and anticipate results. Analytical, logical, capable of objective criticism.

Pays more attention to ideas than to the people behind them. Prefers organizing knowledge to acting in situations, unless forced to. Great intellectual curiosity. A small circle of close friends; enjoys the company of those who like to discuss ideas.

Can get so absorbed in an idea that they ignore the world. Reserved and quiet, but can talk for hours about subjects they know well. Adapts to new situations, except when they conflict with core principles. Interested in possibilities beyond common sense.

Risk: little contact with the outside world makes communication hard. Presents truths in a complicated way, and listeners don’t follow. Needs to simplify. Excellent at analyzing what’s wrong, but finds it hard to express appreciation.
