Drive to Individuate

The call to become who you really are — whole, unique, undivided.

The call to become who you really are — whole, unique, undivided.

When high

There is a strong call in you to become who you really are, whatever it costs — and you’re willing to displease others to stay true to your path. Your life has the sense of a journey.

In the middle

The drive to individuate exists in you, but it negotiates with the wish to belong. You move forward on your path — and sometimes step back to fit what’s expected.

When low

For now you prioritize fitting in over walking a solitary path. There’s no rush: individuation tends to call loudest in the second half of life.

This is a result of this lens — not a destiny. In the crossing, it gains or loses relief as the other eleven lenses agree with it or pull against it.
