When high

You pay attention to dreams, symbols and meaningful coincidences, and you have felt sacred awe before something larger than you. For you, the world has a living symbolic layer.

In the middle

You are partly permeable to the symbolic — there are moments of awe, but also skepticism. The numinous appears and disappears.

When low

You mostly inhabit the concrete and the explainable; dreams and symbols say little to you. It’s a sober way of being in the world — just take care not to close the door on what doesn’t fit into logic.
