Persona Differentiation

Knowing where the social mask ends and you begin.

Knowing where the social mask ends and you begin.

When high

You clearly distinguish who you actually are from the role you play. You can take off the persona with those close to you — and you don’t fear that, without your roles, little of you would remain.

In the middle

You know you wear masks, but sometimes they stick. In certain contexts it’s hard to tell where the role ends and your true self begins.

When low

You may be quite fused with your roles — the risk is mistaking the mask for the face. Differentiating yourself from it is what opens room for a self that is more your own.

This is a result of this lens — not a destiny. In the crossing, it gains or loses relief as the other eleven lenses agree with it or pull against it.
